The Hidden meaning of ROSES

MY SHORT STORY

I woke up early this morning. I immediately look at my calendar on my table. Exactly, 30 October 2014. It was my very special day. Yeah, It’s my birthday, my 17 th birthday. With a spirit and my best smile I went out from my room and guess what my parents made for me.

But what?? My parents act usual, there’s no something happened, there’s no birthday congratulation. Oh.. It’s okay, maybe they were too busy today. So I went to school, my friends won’t forget my birthday, will they?

But… what the fact was out of my wish. At my whole day at the school, NONE of my friends, even my best friend, said anything to me. Oh, Come on… Didn’t anyone remember my birthday, even less my 17th birthday. My smile gone through. I went home with no spirit anymore. Feel like it’s my bad luck day, when I arrived at home, nobody stayed there. They were going to my grandmother’s home. OMG… It feels like I want to cry.

There’s no something I can’t do at my lonely home. Finally I decide to sleep early and when to my bed.

SREGH!!!

Oh, I listen any noise out of at my backdoor. My home was so quiet, there’s no anyone at my home. Who is outside of my room? Someone? Or Something? My heartbeat came faster. With the whole of my bravery, I opened my door. The lamp was dark. I try to walk slowdown to reach the electric switch. Suddenly something touch my shoulder.
AKHHHHH….

Resembling when I was screaming loudly, the lamp switched on.

SURPRISE!!!!!

I was so startled at all. There were my parents, my sisters, and all my friends at my living room. There was also a birthday cake at the middle of the table. Am I dreaming??

“HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY”

I was so exciting then. They didn’t really forget my birthday at all. They prepare a great surprise for me. Thank you for all. It was my Unforgettable 17th birthday I have in my live.
